Infigo expands US presence with new deal

UK-based Infigo Software has signed a major workflow software deal with a super-niche client that prints numbers for athletes.

AthleteRaceNumbers is based in the US and was won over by the integration of Infigo's Catfish and MegaEdit Pro with HP’s Site Flow workflow management system.

The client has been operating for seven years and specialises in printing numbers for competing athletes' shirts and tracksuits.

Infigo customer success director Greg Young said: “The client was becoming increasingly frustrated manually checking the artwork was useable for printing. They were often having to resend artwork.

“However, we offer a fully automated end-to-end system that will increase production efficiency tenfold. It's too early to say what savings they'll make, but they will be significant.”

AthleteRaceNumbers founder Jerry Truppelli said: “Infigo’s ability to integrate to HP PrintOS Site Flow and other e-commerce software reduces the complexity of deploying our e-commerce store.”

He said his company could now now gain new levels of visibility and control over their workflow, create new efficiencies throughout production and increase productivity.

Truppelli added: “After seven years developing AthleteRaceNumbers and using two different platforms and design tools, it became apparent we needed correct and accurate artwork.

“We needed more automated pre-press and to eliminate as many touch points as possible prior to printing. Productivity starts with the design tool; if the design tool fails to give accurate press-ready files, productivity halts and the domino effect kicks in, affecting all other production points”.

Truppelli said his business could now develop and manage the e-commerce store with powerful yet easy-to-use software.

Infigo managing director Douglas Gibson added: “It has never been more important for businesses to invest in the right print automation software to meet their needs. We are committed to continuing to innovate and develop in a way that futureproofs our business and that of our clients.”
