International Graphic Supplies (IGS) has launched a new digital cutter-creaser to target the short-run packaging and prototype market.

Commercially available immediately, the B1 Titanium 0912 has a maximum cutting area of 900x1,200 mm and features automatic loading and unloading of material. The four-station tooling includes an electronic oscillating tool, drag knife, kiss cut knife, and creasing wheel.

The device can cut and crease materials including paper, card, plastics up to 6mm thick, label, foamboard, and corrugated substrates.

A high resolution registration camera ensures that printed jobs are cut accurately to register.

The machine can automatically load and cut 100 B1 sheets, or with the QR code recognition three B3 sheets can be loaded simultaneously, performing several functions in the same pass without stopping for a tool change.

IGS managing director Peter Flynn said: “Digitally cutting any shape, the Titanium 0912 is the ideal solution for the lucrative prototype, short-run packaging and digitally cut labels market with no requirement for costly cutting dies.

“Priced at £34,000 plus VAT which included delivery, installation, training and twelve months’ parts and labour warranty makes for a quick ROI. This will be of great interest to anyone involved in the packaging and point-of-sale industry, I’m sure.”

In January IGS received the award for 2021 European Distributor of the Year from JWEI, the manufacturer of the Titanium cutters. IGS installed 21 of the company’s machines last year.
