Dataline highlights latest MultiPress features at Fespa

Belgian software developer Dataline Solutions is showing two recently launched modules for its MultiPress MIS/ERP platform at Fespa.

The MultiPress Installation App enables mobile employees to manage the administration of sign and large-format projects in real time at the customer’s premises, and includes the ability to upload photos.

Marketing director Jef Stoffels said: “Installers of displays of shopping windows and vinyls can have this app on their smartphone and it gives them working instructions of where to go and what to do.

“They can collect pictures of the work they delivered, measure their hours and collect the signature of the customer, and if they have defects they can register those as well. The app talks to the core ERP system and that helps to speed up the process of invoicing.”

The MultiPress Calculation Wizard, meanwhile, enables simple, fast and accurate price calculations. This application is integrated into a webstore and enables purchasers to request correct prices directly online.

MultiPress links all administrative, commercial, financial and logistics processes within a user’s business. It includes a CRM function, quotations, order management, logistics and forwarding management, planning and invoicing.

“Mid-market but quite rich featured” according to Stoffels, MultiPress is typically available via a subscription model, which entitles users to maintenance and upgrades, although the company said an additional payment would be required to use brand new modules, including the Installation App and the Calculation Wizard. MultiPress can also be purchased via an annual upfront payment.

While Dataline does not currently have a UK distributor, the business said it could supply MultiPress direct to interested parties.

“Our ambition is to be a market leader [in the UK] but we will take our time, it’s an investment of time and people,” said chief executive Dirk Deroo.

“We are looking for good channel partners in the UK. We know a lot of them but it’s a question of what kind of skills they have, what kind of products they have, and how similar is the way we handle our customers.”

Dataline is exhibiting at stand A5-F37 at Fespa, which is taking place at Messe Munich, Germany until Friday (17 May).
