Cunningham: long track record in print and print management

Long-standing Communisis procurement specialist Ian Cunningham has left the firm to take up a new role at APS Group.

Cunningham had worked at Communisis for more than nine years and was most recently European category lead for print.

His industry career stretches back more than 30 years and includes spells at Adare and St Ives Direct.

Cunningham took up his new role as European category manager for print, 2D point-of-sale and direct mail at APS this month.

Posting on LinkedIn, Cunningham described the APS role as “new and exciting” and said he would help to support the group’s growth across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America.

Following nine years at Communisis I am moving on to pastures new. I would like to thank all my colleagues old and new across the whole of Europe for being supportive and great to work with over this time. As well all my support network,” he said.

APS Group has made a number of senior hires this year, including David Herridge, also ex-Communisis, and Tony Massey who previously worked at InnerWorkings and HH Global

Stockport-headquartered APS Group Global is a top 20 business in the Printweek Top 500 survey with sales of £166.8m in its most recent accounts.
