The revolution continues next year

A two-year journey of discovery for PrintWeek came to a dramatic climax earlier this month, when the industry’s finest descended on the Wasps Arena, Coventry for our first PrintWeekLive! event.

More than 2,000 visitors from 1,000-plus companies attended our inaugural hybrid event, which combined an exhibition, conference and workshop theatres and the feedback has been fantastic.

Naturally, I’m biased, but the show delivered everything we could have hoped for in year one, and more than lived up to its inspire, innovate and initiate strapline.

From day one it was important to us that the show would appeal to the entire print community; printers, buyers and manufacturers and suppliers – because you all have a key role and vested interest in ensuring the industry continues to evolve and thrive.

And while the old adage says you can’t please all of the people all of the time, I hope that for those two days in Coventry we made a decent fist of doing just that.

But, as I’m sure you’re sick of hearing me say; our annual event was designed by the industry, for the industry and we’re asking for your help again – because we want to make the 2018 edition event even better.

So, if you attended or registered and recently received a feedback survey from us, please complete it, and if you didn’t then feel free to drop me a line. I would love to hear your thoughts, good, bad, but hopefully not ugly, on how we can make next year’s event an even more valuable addition to the industry calendar.

Because this year’s show was just the beginning of the journey – and we want to ensure the entire industry continues to enjoy the ride.
