Visual Print & Design has unveiled its new logo as part of a rebrand to celebrate 10 years in business and move the company into the future.

Developed in-house by the Lincoln-based outfit’s own design team, the new logo beat out a variety of concepts and was chosen to reflect its all-encompassing, communication-focused services offered from the estimation to the delivery stage of any job.

In September, Visual will mark its 10th anniversary by throwing a birthday party and inviting along a number of its more than 2,000 customers.

Creative marketing manager Rachael Hunt, who joined Visual three months ago, said: “Our graphic design team came up with the new logo in close work with our managing director Graham Hunstone, as well as by turning it over to some of our top clients.

“All our clients were behind us and thought it was a great move. It is designed to reflect our variety of services in print and design, as well as responding to how print has changed in recent years by allowing us to modernise.

“We want to get across that we are all about communication, which means clients get straight to their account managers rather than getting stuck online. It will help us to increase our brand awareness as we move on to invest in expanding our staff and product range.”

Following the launch of the new branding, Visual is set to spend the next year investing in its equipment base and increasing its 10-strong headcount.

Hunt said key prospects for kit investment would be in upgrading Visual’s bookmaking machines and adding a new printing device for producing drinkware items, which would accompany the Mutoh ValueJet VJ-626UF installed in February. The new machinery is planned to lead onto the hiring of new staff in the production department.

Visual will also look to focus on its corporate social responsibility by investing in the local community and charities through support and sponsorship for local events and conferences.

Graham Hunstone said: “When I set up the business 10 years ago with only £500, I did not think I would be in the position today with two offices, 10 employees and over 2,000 customers. That is why I am so excited to unveil the new look to celebrate 10 years.

“It really is a testament to my incredible team.”

On track for £900,000 by the end of its current financial year, Visual Print & Design runs a second office in Biggar, between Glasgow and Edinburgh, alongside its Lincoln base.
