Premier Paper commercial director Rob Viner said that although Carrs' Signal Plus was no longer being made, Premier had sufficient stocks to maintain continuity of supply in the short term.

"Signal Plus will remain available during the time it will take us to get stocks of Giroform," he said, adding that Premier had been determined to provide a product that matched the quality of Signal Plus.

Mitsubishi HiTec Paper UK managing director Brian Garson said he was delighted Premier had decided to stock Giroform. "We believe Giroform Excel offers significant advantages over the remaining carbonless grades," he said.
