California- and Netherlands-based Markzware, which specialises in preflighting, data extraction and conversion software, announced the release last Friday (5 December).
Q2ID provides a quick and easy way to migrate QuarkXPress content into an Adobe InDesign document. The latest version adds full plugin support for InDesign CS3 and CS4 and will convert to QuarkXPress versions 3.3 through to 8.

According to Markzware, the conversion tool, which is priced at €199 (£165), can save “countless hours of scanning, re-keying and formatting”.
