PrintWeek Team
Monday, October 22, 2018

Our judges have a beef about this one: “All too often direct mail is slurred with the ‘junk mail’ label, yet it can show the true marketing potential of print.” Geoff Neal Group proved it with “a great overall entry, in particular Peugeot with its impressive finishes”. 020 8751 4455

The 30,000 packs boasted lamination, spot UV and foiling. The printer in Feltham, Middlesex, also delivered for Volvo, Boden and Nationwide, the latter a push-pull concept firmed up with mock-ups and artwork before 260,000 personalised mailings went out, propelling Geoff Neal Group to a category win that abley demonstrated how print can make a very powerful impression.

Go Inspire Solutions 0116 232 1711

Go Inspire got inspired with mailings for Pets at Home, Waitrose and Sky - “great examples of how innovation can lift DM to another level,” insisted judges. The 395,000 Sky mailings boasted innovative use of litho-grade paper and pre- and post-coating technology to give litho-image quality from a digital press at high volume and speed.

Paragon sends out more than 4 million communications every day and time and again proves that intelligent direct mail can beat digital rivals. Samples including a John Lewis perfume tester, Sainsburys VIC Easter mailing and a Virgin Media kids project marked a “really diverse entry”.
