Drytac Europe to showcase new products at Fespa

Self-adhesive materials manufacturer Drytac Europe will show a range of new products at Fespa Digital 2016, as it seeks new resale and distribution partners.

The company will publicly debut ViziPrint illuminate film, a new product for vibrant backlit graphics, and also highlight a new floor graphics application for its Polar HiGrab vinyl.

ViziPrint Illuminate is a 100 micron translucent matt PET film, which the company has developed for backlit window graphics and vibrant backlit displays for high-end retail advertising. It is suitable for both indoor and short-term outdoor applications.

The substrate can be repositioned and reapplied multiple times upon installation and leaves no residue following removal. It is also said to be highly durable and does not require over-lamination.

ViziPrint illuminate is commercially available with immediate effect from Antalis, which exclusively distributes Drytac’s films and adhesives throughout the UK and Ireland. Pricing has not been disclosed.

Additionally, the company will also highlight a new floor graphics application for its Polar HiGrab vinyl.

Polar HiGrab, which is printable by eco-solvent, latex and UV inkjet technologies, is coated on one side with a high tack pressure sensitive, solvent grey opaque acrylic adhesive.

Once printed, Polar HiGrab can be combined with Protac ScuffGuard laminate, a 150 micron textured PVC protective over-laminate film with a matt finish.

Drytac Europe will also show DecorTac printable wallpaper for customised interior design applications, ReTac peelable films in a variety of thicknesses and finishes and SpotOn spot-adhesive films at Fespa.

Drytac chief executive Hayden Kelley said: “We have transformed Drytac in recent years by streamlining our product offering to focus on self-adhesive solutions for our customers. If a product did not meet these criteria, we eliminated it. Whilst we’ve narrowed our product range, we continue to grow apace and have achieved double-digit growth in terms of sales for the past two years.

“We’ve also expanded into new areas such as printable films with matched components. These solutions provide our partners and customers with the confidence that their graphics will meet the needs of almost any application – whether that’s for windows, walls, floors, outdoors and more.”

The business said it would also use Fespa, which will take place in Amsterdam from 8 to 11 March, as an opportunity to seek new professional resale and distribution partners across the globe.

Drytac Europe sales director Steve Broad said: “In the past at Fespa we’ve picked up new distributors around the world who are looking to add Drytac to their portfolio.

“We look at the interested companies to see how they’re partnered and how they’re structured before deciding if it’s the right thing to do.”
