What’s at the top of your Christmas wish list this year?

A full order book for 2015!

What trend (business or technology) do you think 2014 will be remembered for?

Innovation and new business solutions.

What do you think will represent the single biggest opportunity for printers in 2015 and why?

General retail confidence meaning brands are willing to spend more in promotion.

What do you think will represent the single biggest threat for printers in 2015 and why?

Overcapacity, with still not enough work to go around.

What’s the one thing that the industry should do more of, or do better, in 2015?

Stop talking about managing decline in direct mail and develop propositions to support it; not just email but really explore data science.

What was your biggest disappointment in 2014?

Not running the London Marathon in under 4hrs 30mins (I did it in 4hrs 55mins!).

What was your highlight of 2014?

Completing the London Marathon!

What are your hopes for 2015?

A happy workforce.

What was the most important thing that you learnt in 2014?

As a team at DST we can accomplish anything.

What if anything will you do differently in 2015?

Spend more time with customers.
