Znd tours latest digital cutting system

Swiss digital manufacturer Znd Systemtechnik will be showcasing its latest multifunctional digital cutting system at Sign Expo in Orlando this April and at Fespa in Munich in June.

The Zünd Cut Center software, which is specifically tailored for Zünd G3 cutters, guides the operator through the cutting process by offering the best choices based on the material to be cut, available tooling and quality requirements.

The system eliminates the need for operator experience or trial and error, according to the company.

The Zünd Cut Center includes five modules, such as Cut Queue for file retrieval and Cut Editor.

Cut Editor offers editing functions such as router hatch, island fill, which is used to create pockets in rigid substrates and provides over-cut compensation to remove cuts on corners.

Lars Bendixen, sign and graphic products manager at Zünd Systemtechnik, said: "In cooperation with RIP, ERP and MIS software manufacturers, we expect to take automated workflow, production planning and reporting to the next level."
