The firm will relaunch the range in the first quarter of 2004 following extensive research conducted with merchants and customers. Brand manager Vianney de La Houplire said the improvements had been in development for more than 18 months.
The additions include a new bluer shade and low paper gloss for Ikono matt, and improved stiffness and paper gloss for Ikono gloss.
It has also added a new colour, Ikono silk ivory, and a new specials range featuring metallic coloured surfaces with the gold, silver and bronze shades.
The new Ikono range is available in gloss, matt, silk white, silk ivory and special metallic finishes, in weights from 115gsm to 300gsm.
Merchant PaperCo stocks the Ikono range, produced at Gohrsmhle mill in Germany, in the UK.
