Your Print Partner shuttered

The original YPP business was established in 2011

The company behind Your Print Partner has gone into voluntary liquidation.

2011 Trading Ltd had acquired the Your Print Partner business via a £216,617 pre-pack deal in March 2022, helmed by CEO Stuart Maclaren.

Maclaren resigned as a director of 2011 Trading at the end of October 2023.

On 13 December director Matthew Armitage put the Lincoln-based business into voluntary liquidation with Craig Ridgley and Phil Ballard of Mercian Advisory appointed as joint liquidators.

The business has an estimated total deficiency of more than £1.9m according to the Statement of Affairs.

Armitage and his family were the biggest single creditors via related party loans of £774,934.

HMRC was owed £329,674 and trade and expense creditors were owed £607,068.

Armitage told Printweek the business had been hit by three substantial bad debts and became unviable.

He has set up a new company, Direct on Demand Print, offering integrated print on-demand services for apparel, homeware and signage.

Maclaren is understood to be concentrating on his separate Fan Merch business, which was established in April 2022 and specialises in licensed merchandise for British Superbike teams.
