Xeikon has been granted protection from its creditors for a period of four months.
The Belgian Courts announced the decision on Wednesday (28 November).
The firm's management in Belgian and France (which has already had a three month creditor protection period approved) will now prepare their restructuring plan, under the supervision of the courts.
Xeikon applied for the Belgian equivalent of Chapter 11 earlier this month.
