The machine cost nearly half the 2m total spend and will print material for universities, Irish pharma firms and graphics agencies.
"It's a brand leader and a quality machine," said director John Waterman. He added that Heidelbergs were more expensive but their better "build quality" made them a "superior buy".
The Supersetter CTP cost around 125,000 and the Autobond Mini 52 TH laminator was 40,000.
The firm also snapped up a Xerox DocuTech Nuvera 100 digital copier printer for variable data billing for around 70,000.
The machines run alongside two Speedmaster presses in a factory that recently doubled in size to 1,400sqm.
The Autobond Mini was the firm's first laminator.
