The Lancashire-based company spent £110,000 on a Horizon StitchLiner with a 10-bin Turbo Vac PowerCollator and a BQ270 to bring its production in-house.
The B2 house hopes to drive down costs as the new machinery will mean it does not have to outsource as much work.
John Collins, managing director of Waring Collins, said: "A lot of customers producing magazines are looking to take them down to 48 pages to save costs. We were not able to offer that when we were outsourcing work as the minimum was 64 pages. Now we can do that in-house.
"Bringing these processes in-house will definitely help us get more customers and more work," Collins added.
The BQ270 has a cycle speed of 500 books per hour.
Waring Collins is a commercial printer employing eight staff. It produces a variety of products including magazines, brochures, folders and business cards and has a turnover of £500,000.
