UFabrik hails CarbonQuota programme

UFabrik (3.2-A40) has announced its progressive engagement with sustainability consultancy CarbonQuota, to validate its product portfolio through a comprehensive life cycle assessment (LCA) programme.

The company said this collaboration would ensure that every scientific claim is backed by audited and certified data.

By implementing rigorous LCAs, UFabrik said it was seeking to remove ambiguity from the market, providing its customers and brands with clear independent environmental information for all textiles within its range.

Robin East, group chief commercial officer at UFabrik, said: “When you do an LCA you’re baring everything, but the major brands – particularly in retail – want honesty. And we want to be that manufacturer that demonstrates honesty.”

Separately, UFabrik – the premium Textile Partner to the Fespa Global Print Expo 2025 – has built its show stand in partnership with global modular exhibition frame specialist beMatrix.

All textile graphics for the double deck stand have been produced using UFabrik textiles across multiple manufacturers’ print technologies.
