Triangle Digital Inx is to launch following Sakata Inx's decision to join with Triangle Digital, the US supplier of outdoor wide-format inks.
"A key focus will be smoothing printers' expansion into digital," said president and chief executive Rick Clendenning.
Triangle Digital's technical know-how dovetailed with Sakata's global reach and prowess in research and development, he said.
Sakata has around 20 plants worldwide, including Inx International in Manchester. Last year's turnover was 480m.
Triangle's reach stretches to North and South America, the Pacific Rim and Europe.
