The PrintWeek FespaDaily team’s round up of some of the stories from Day two of the show at the Hamburg Messe.

New pouch system from Sun
Sun Chemical is promising printers a cleaner working environment with its new pouch ink feed system. With the Eco Pro system for the firm’s Streamline range of aftermarket inks, pouches sit in a cradle above the printer, reducing the likelihood of spillages or of air bubbles entering the ink. Sun also cited “considerable” environmental benefits regarding recyclability compared with bottles and cartridges. The system is being shown (B5-D20) with Sun’s new Streamline ESL 3 solvent-based ink. The manufacturer is showcasing its entire ink range for screen, inkjet and industrial printing at Fespa.
