Times deal for German firms

HarperCollins has turned to Sigloch Buchbinderei in Blaufelden, Germany, to bind the new edition of The Times Comprehensive Atlas due to its size.

The atlas is 450x310mm and is being promoted by the publisher as being as big as a coffee table.

This is the first fully CTP edition since the atlas conception in 1967.

Printing also took place at a German company, Aprinta. The cover features bronze foil blocking on the front and spine. The books pagination is 544pp.
