The new operation has changed its name to SE (Envelope Manufacturing), and Surrey Envelopes director Jeff Greenleaf said four staff made redundant last week by administrative receivers Cooper Parry LLP had been re-employed.
Greenleaf said there was a lot of synergy between the two companies, with LHM Print being a former supplier to his London-based firm. Further acquisitions would not be ruled out, he added.
Bespoke printed envelope manufacturer Surrey Envelopes was formed in 1991, has 40 employees, and sales of 5.8m.
Its clients include BBC, Hewlett-Packard and Renault Cars.
