Nigel Peake, Staffordshire CC strategic procurement officer, said that the roster was being established for overflow work from the council's in-house print department.
"We're looking for between five and eight suppliers, and we're interested in companies' capabilities in design, print and finishing," he said.
Peake estimated work from the roster to be worth 1.3m to 1.6m per year. Jobs covered will include a range of print requirements for Staffordshire schools, charities, utilities, NHS bodies, police and local authorities.
