The company, which has sites at both Bradford and Haddenham, has bought a Hunkeler VE520 from UK agent Friedheim International.
Spicer Hallfield's new machine will be installed at Bradford, where the company's entire production facilities will eventually be relocated.
Wayne Bendelow, operations director, said: "We are relocating production and distribution to Bradford, while the head office will stay in the south.
"We have begun moving things up and this will continue in a phased move. We expect it to be completed by the end of the summer."
The Hunkeler machine has been brought in to help move Spicer Hallfield away from hand finishing. The 110-staff company is one of the last remaining businesses to still use hand finishers.
But Bendelow added: "We needed to expand capacity but it has also improved our efficiency. We still use hand finishing, but this machine enables us to handle bespoke runs of less than 1,000 right through to 100,000 runs."
The company specialises in photographic presentation products such as wedding books and school photograph struts.
