Impact Litho, part of Wyndeham Press Group, will print the 8pp cover for the first issue, but subsequent issues, with standard 4pp covers, will be printed in their entirety by Southernprint. Repro will be done by Colour Systems, but all contracts are held on an issue-by-issue basis.
With the exception of the Japanese edition, all print and repro for the 84pp colour A4 European editions (English, Spanish, French and German) will be done in the UK.
The title is published by PrintWeeks publisher, Haymarket. The contract adds to Southernprints Haymarket automotive portfolio, which already includes Jaguar, What Car Road Test and F1 Racing.
"Were delighted to add this title and we expect to hold the contract until the end of the year at least," said John Sharp, marketing director of the Poole-based printer.
The quarterly publication, One Aim: the Toyota Magazine, is contracted to Haymarket for two years. It will be distributed via Toyota subsidiaries to dealerships, customers, media and business associates around the world.
The magazine will be launched on 14 February in time for the Australian Grand Prix, when Toyota takes to the F1 grid for the first time.
