According to the Barcelona-headquartered business, the investment will add weight to its Norwegian operation, taking its Scandinavian operations to around EUR100m (£85m) in five years.
In particular, the company expects to see growth in its web-to-print business, which is particularly advanced in Scandinavia.
A company statement said: "Holmbergs is a clear strategic opportunity for us. In 2010, our operations in Norway produced the best figures in its 50-year history, and on the macro-economic side, Scandinavian economies have weathered the downturn better than most.
"With today’s incorporation of Holmbergs into the group, we are not only adding a well-positioned, well-run company to our project of generating value for our stakeholders, but we are one more step towards our mission of becoming a world leader in print, document and information management services."
Malmö-based Holmbergs runs four sites with a turnover of EUR14m and has 100 employees.
