Service Graphics wins National Grid event work

St Ives' Service Graphics division has won a contract worth up to 1m per year to produce event graphics for the National Grid.

The large format business will not only print exhibition graphics and other materials, but also handle storage, stock management, transportation, installation and de-rigging for National Grid events, as well as offering a repair and maintenance service.

It will also provide conference and audio visual support with services for staging, projection, sound rigs and lighting, power provision and recording as well as technical support.

National Grid will be able to utilise an online ordering facility so that it can service some of its own graphics needs as well as a fast turnaround service for new products that will be created within National Grid's strict brand and visual identity guidelines.

National Grid events manager Sue Ong said: "The creation of this contract agreement allows National Grid Plc to obtain a high quality service through a supplier with the ability to meet and exceed cost, quality and service requirements.

"Service Graphics has been appointed to provide a flexible and efficient on-demand service which ensures brand continuity and consistency of resources, whilst delivering cost savings and reducing year on year spend."

The contract, which will run between three and five years, represents a continuation of a relationship going back 20 years. Service Graphics sales director Scott King said: "We are very proud of the trust built in the quality of our consultancy, products and services and this contract provides an opportunity to demonstrate the provision of a 'best practice' service provider."
