Screen puts focus on W3200UV at Fespa

Screen Europe will use Fespa 2014 to highlight the capabilities of the latest addition to the wide-format Truepress Jet range, the W3200UV.

The company will be running live demonstrations on its stand (B2 171) with the machine producing a range of applications, including high-speed lenticular work and multi-layer products at Fespa 2014, which is being held at Munich Messe in Germany, 20-23 May.

Screen developed the Truepress Jet W3200UV in conjunction with Inca Digital as a high-quality, high-productivity wide-format machine for printers looking to upgrade from older low-speed printers. The machine’s multi-layer capability enables it to produce posters and graphics with front/back overprinting in up to eight layers for backlit and variable day/night applications.

Screen Europe president Brian Filler said: “Fespa offers the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the considerable versatility that the innovative W3200UV offers for the production of backlit graphics, wide-format posters, POS displays and signage while delivering a good return on investment.”

The manufacturer said the ability to produce high-value applications, such as lenticular and multi-layer work, at “commercially attractive” speeds makes the W3200UV the most versatile machine in its class.

The W3200UV can print on rigid and flexible media of up to 3.2x1.6m and a max thickness of 50mm at up to 85sqm/hr.
