Qrotek sells JC Graphic turner

Qrotek Systems has become the exclusive UK agency for the JC Graphic range of pile turners and sold the first of the Danish firms machines into the UK.

ProCo in Sheffield has installed a Zamson 104 B1, its first pile handling kit.

"We looked at other models but they didn't seem as well built as the Zamson," said ProCo production director Richard Green "And it was also the cheapest and simplest, and it can handle very small sheet sizes as well as B1."

Qrotek, based in Stoke-on-Trent, sells two versions of the Zamson: the sub-10,000 104, which can handle sheets from 450x320mm to 1,200x800mm, with a minimum pile-height of 320mm and a maximum of 1,300mm; and the 12,000 larger-format 144, which is the same specification but can handle sheets up to 1,440x1,040mm.

"They're economical, and available at an almost throwaway price... it's also a nice piece of kit, built very well," said Qrotek sales manager Andrew Pearman.

Both models have airing and vibration as optional extras.
