The organisation, previously known as DSPA, is also introducing new member benefits, including discounted energy packages for all business sizes.
Events scheduled for 2008 include Sign & Digital UK seminars, a summit on value adding, and a forum on environmental business opportunities.
Prism business manager John Keith said the organisation aims to deliver the tools and knowledge to allow members to meet industry challenges and achieve sustained competitiveness and growth.
"While our industry is among one of the most exciting and innovative in the world, UK business challenges, such as overcapacity and response to environmental concerns, are seriously impacting their profitability and future success," Keith added.
"In addition to helping existing members improve their business performance, we also expect significant interest from non-members, and look forward to increasing the Prism community."
HP has signed up as the association's sole digital technology partner and is supporting Prism's presence at the Sign & Digital UK show, currently taking place in Birmingham, as well as its new initiatives such as the forthcoming summit and forum.
