The two-up chemistry-free internal drum platesetter, which  debuted at Northprint, has been developed for short-run, small-format work up to 52cm.

"The package offers higher productivity, cleaner operation and lower materials and production costs," said Presstek. "It raises the bar for innovation and puts metal CTP within reach of any printing firm regardless of size."

Designed to work with Presstek's Freedom plates the unit can output 20 plates an hour, which are good for runs of up to 25,000 impressions.
