HighWater Designs has unveiled its PressMimic Print and PressMimic Design proofing software to the UK market.
The system, first shown at Drupa, uses a PostScript 3 compatible Torrent RIP and drives Epson 5000, 7000 and 9000 ink-jet printers.
HighWater marketing manager Sue Wood said: PressMimic allows pre-press professionals to match the quality of Cromalin, but its much cheaper.
PressMimic Print is able to support either composite or separated CMYK workflow.
