Repro for the 100pp quarterly will be handled in-house at the Manchester-based publisher, and the title, which launched its first issue on 15 January, has a cover price of 5.99.
Retro Gamer aims to be the UKs first regular gaming title dedicated to vintage video games.
The first issue has a cover mounted collectors edition CD, and contains information and reviews on over 200 PC retro games.
A special report is also provided on everything that was Sinclair and a review of the Top 100 retro games, including Manic Miner and Frogger.
Other titles published by Live Publishing include PC Extreme, PSG, PC Utilities Plus and Movie Insider.
