The decision was made after a chapel meeting on 22 September, where GPMU members voted in favour of the settlement.
The dispute centred round an agreement made last year to give staff a two-year staggered pay-rise. But there was a "difference of opinion" as to how the agreement should be interpreted and Polestar had failed to pay any increase for 2002 (PrintWeek, 6
