Kneusels: looking forward to the challenge

Heidelberg’s post-press partner Polar Group has created a senior combined sales and service role as it looks to evolve the way it operates and integrate its three business units closer.

Hendrik Kneusels has been appointed head of sales and service in a new role that was created following the departure of head of sales Martin Hornig in May, six months after he joined the 500 staff group.

Kneusels joins from Italian packaging track and trace technology specialist Antares Vision, where he was commercial business development director. He reports to Polar Group managing director Michael Wombacher.

"We would like to grow closer together within the Polar Group, both in terms of space and at the product level," said Wombacher, who himself joined earlier this year.

"To achieve this goal, it is crucial that the entire group's sales strategy is coordinated consistently."

"I am looking forward to the challenge," said Kneusels. "There are promising synergy potentials within the Polar Group. Together with my team, I want to identify and realise these opportunities."
