Pitney Bowes opens European technology centre

Mailing equipment manufacturer Pitney Bowes has announced two open days next month to mark the opening of its new European Technology and Solutions Centre at Redhill, Surrey.

The site will be used both as a demonstration site for European customers and as a training centre for Pitney Bowes engineers.

Consecutive open days will be held on 6 and 7 October 2009.

The ‘A Vision of Your Future’ days will give customers the opportunity to view the new facility and see the latest Pitney Bowes technology in a factory setting.

Ronald van Hees, director of marketing at Pitney Bowes, said: "Today’s customers see real value in being able to view technology at close quarters and to run specific applications through the kit before they commit to purchase. We are excited to have finally opened the doors to this wonderful new facility."

Meanwhile, the company has also announced the signing of an OEM deal with CodX software to bring the Swiss company's PostOffice software to the European market.
