Stuart Bonthrone has been named as managing director of the mailing and finishing firm in the UK and Ireland.

He joined Pitney Bowes in 1997 and has held positions including managing director for Ireland and vice president of mail creation.

He was most recently vice president of European marketing and lines of business.

Barry Jessop has replaced Bonthrone, moving from the post of director of UK marketing which he has occupied since September 2001.

Jessop began his career at Xerox in 1988, becoming European sales director before he left to join Pitney Bowes in 2001.

Dan Hindman has taken on Jessop's role.
