The common control platform enables print jobs to be switched between its 18 DocuTech 6180 machines, as well as between locations to ensure optimum productivity and economies of scale for Pims.
The upgrade also included two new DocuTech 6180 Production Publishers, a DocuColor 12 and two DigiPath 65 scanners.
Chairman and chief executive Julian Henchley said: The move to a common controller platform lets us integrate all of our cut-sheet digital printing operations, regardless of whether the application is from hard copy or digital files, be they colour or black-and-white.
