PCC creates new marketing role

The Printers' Charitable Trust (PCC) has appointed Joanna Havers to the newly created role of fundraising and marketing director.

Havers, who has previously worked for Sussex Housing & Care The Wildlife Trust and RSPB, will report directly to the chief executive of the Board of Trustees.

She said: "Although the PCC is the UK’s second oldest occupational charity, I will be developing the first-ever marketing strategy in its 182-year history.

"It’s an exciting and challenging role as the charity implements its ambitious plans for its long-term future."

PCC chief executive Stephen Gilbert added: "We undertook a major review of our organisational structure and Joanna Havers’ appointment was part of that process.

"We’re at the right place now to help people at what is a very critical time for many in the printing industry."

The PCC is set to hold its 182nd Annual General Meeting later this month, on 28 April.
