Signal Plus ceased production following the move into administration of Birmingham-based carbonless specialist Carrs Paper on 10 May.

PaperCo marketing director Bob Ide said that Signal Plus had been popular with many customers, all of whom were concerned about finding a replacement. "We have stocked an alternative quality [Autocopy Xtra] for some time now, which was developed from the old lightweight Autocopy grade," he said.

"Autocopy Xtra is already used regularly by a growing number of our printer customers," Ide added.

PaperCo will be talking to Signal Plus users with advice on how to make a smooth switch to Autocopy Xtra.
