UEFA, the Union of European Football Associations, has launched its re-branding with a competition and brand book, printed on Hello silk supplied by Robert Horne. UEFA used the brochure to help launch its new identity. The brochure was printed by south-east London-based printer Moores.

M-real has won two industry accolades in one week. The Finnish paper producer scooped both the Periodical Publishers Association's magazine paper supplier of the year award and received an award for the design of its magazine from the Association of Publishing Agencies (APA). The APA named M-real's magazine designer Jeremy Leslie designer of the year.

Holmen is to invest 30m (44m) at its Iggesunds Bruk mill in Sweden. The investment is to improve the quality and consistency of products from the mill's KM2 paperboard machine. The mill has the capacity to produce 300,000 tonnes of solid bleached board per year.

Ziegler paper mill in Grellingen, Switzerland has installed a new sheeting and wrapping line. This consists of an up-to-date cut-size sheet cutter together with wrapping machine and collector station for stacked reams. This will allow Ziegler to trim up to 15,000kg of fine and special papers in weights of 60gsm to 250gsm per shift.

Seven Curtis Fine Papers employees recently received 25-year service awards from the Guardbridge-based speciality papermaker. They attended a celebratory dinner and were each presented with a 150 gift voucher for the store of their choice.

Fedrigoni has issued the third edition of its environmental report. The report features information on the performance of the group's three main facilities in Italy. All the mills succeeded in achieving an overall 14% reduction in their use of fresh water, a 9% fall in energy consumption and an 8% drop in emissions.
