Sappi is exhibiting 700 photographs of the natural world online to publicise its Magno brand. The pictures, which were submitted by printers, designers and photographers as part of the Magno Intensity Challenge photo competition, can be viewed at www.sappi.com. Sappis other brands include HannoArt, Presto, Royal and Next Generation Coated fine paper.

Amicus union members in the papermaking industry have voted to accept a national pay deal. It is worth 2.9% on the nationally agreed rates and 2.5% on the locally agreed pay agreements. Members voted for it in a secret ballot by almost two to one, according to the union.

M-real has launched a sample swatch for its Crossbow uncoated paper range. The swatch contains plain and printed samples of each available grade from 70-170gsm and also features a variety of images on an archery theme. The range is aimed at makers of brochures, manuals, envelopes and direct mail material.

The International Paper-sponsored Young Talent of the Year trophy at the OPI office products awards has gone to Christian Horn. Horn, European sales and marketing director of Netherlands-based Corporate Express, picked up the gong for his role in developing the company's European business. Other awards at the Frankfurt event included Vendor of the Year and New Product Launch.

Stora Enso has restructured its organisation following the departure of two executives. Sweden country manager Yngve Stade retired and Arno Pelkonen, who was in charge of corporate strategy and emerging markets, has resigned. Among the changes are a new finance and strategy, of accounting, legal, investor relations and corporate affairs departments, which will be headed up by chief financial officer Hannu Ryppnen.

James McNaughton Group's graphical boards Incada Silk and Incada Exel have been awarded Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. Both are manufactured by Iggesund Paper Board in Cumbria, which guarantees all timber involved in its production comes from UK FSC-managed forests. The products are among the first graphical boards to achieve certification.

The Confederation of European Paper Industries' second sustainability report has warned against complacency while offering a positive view of firms' strides in areas such as renewable energy and recycling. Managing director Teresa Presas has called for more dialogue with stakeholders, and a coherent legislative framework within which to work.
