The firm installed a five-colour CD74 at the start of last month, followed by a two-colour Speedmaster 52 two weeks later, along with new laminating and binding kit, allowing it to bring virtually all production and finishing in-house.
Press set-up times on the CD74 are around five minutes, the company has claimed, compared to around 40 minutes on previous kit.
Managing director Paul Douglas (left) said: "We find that an increasing number of customers need more than straightforward print fulfilment. We've developed our skills base to become communications specialists providing design, marketing, copywriting, print and mailing services."
The company is also planning a series of open days during the autumn. To attend, visit www.palladianpress.biz.
