Optichrome managing director Bob Spiers said that Optimus had also been chosen as part of a joint sales initiative with IBMs North European sales Alliance to develop new sales opportunities covering the UK & Ireland.
"We are expecting to make further announcements throughout this year as a result of the initiative," said Spiers.
The MIS, production network and e-commerce developer is also demonstrating how its Optimus 2020 MIS meets the demands of integrated production workflows, by acting as the MIS for a number of suppliers in PrintCity, including Agfa, Man Roland and Scenicsoft.
Optichrome is also showing the latest version of the Optimus 2020 Estimating Pro module, Estimating Pro+, which has the ability to provide customers with almost instantaneous job quotations.
Other products include Optimus Prestige Scheduling, designed specifically for printers, and the latest addition to the Optimus 2020 module range.
Optichrome has announced PDF enhancements to its B2B online offering, which now has the ability to generate PDF files, so printers can enter products for easy ordering.
The Optimus 2020 server software is now available under Linux.
