The first copies of the US title, which was previously printed in New York and flown in to the UK, rolled off an Oc DemandStream 8090 press at Wembley printer Stroma in late May.
Stroma managing director Steve Brown declined to reveal the number of copies printed at the site, but said the NYT was "by far" its biggest newspaper client.
He said that the firm receives PDFs at around 3.30am, and has two hours to print the copies before distribution commences at 5.30am.
Stroma was the first printer in Oc's DNN in May 2001. The firm prints copies of Swiss title Neue Zrcher Zeitung, the Sydney Morning Herald and the Toronto Globe & Mail.
