Oc reveals new wide-format printer

Oc has unveiled a new eight-colour wide-format printer, the CS2344, designed for Computer Aided Design (CAD) and display graphic applications.

The full-colour machine can produce prints for both indoor and outdoor environments from technical drawings through to posters and signage.

The CS2344 incorporates two integrated printheads, which is claimed to help combine productivity with quality, printing at resolutions of up to 2400x1200dpi.

Océ's new wide-format machine can output at a range of speeds with a full-colour A0 print taking two minutes in draft mode.

The digital printer can handle substrates including draft, standard and premium paper grades to films and media such as canvas, linen and vinyl.

Océ is targeting a variety of clients, including architects, engineering firms and local government departments with wide-ranging printing needs, as well as commercial print shops that want to handle any job a customer specifies.
