Flat sales at large-format printer manufacturer NUR have led to cost-saving measures including an unspecified number of job cuts.
The economic slowdown will keep revenues flat and the firm doesnt expect growth until the second half of next year.
Vice president of research and development Eli Shalev has been appointed as chief operating officer to oversee the measures.
The company plans to roll out the lease-based finance package that it offers to US customers to the rest of the world.
Revenues fell 18% to 21m ($30m) with profits falling 98% to 57,000.
Fellow Israeli digital print firm Scitex reported a 14% rise in revenues to 45m, although it made a loss of 28m due to write-downs reported by CreoScitex (PrintWeek, 26 October).
Its wide-format division, Scitex Vision, fared better, with revenues up 21% to 17m and income before amortisation of intangibles up 38% to 2.1m.
