"We have expanded the number of customer-facing people as we believe that we often generate business as a result of the support service that we offer our customers," said Fujifilm marketing director Graham Leeson.
The expansion includes three newly created business development managerial roles and two technical support specialists, plus two regional sales managers and pre-sales support and additional marketing positions.
Peter Stidard joins from Kodak Polychrome Graphics as business development manager for the North West, while Ken Edwards, formerly of Openshaw, becomes business development manager for London.
Joining the electronic sales operations are Steve Snowden, formerly of Purup-Eskofot, and Chris Bellis from Gretag, who will be responsible for London and the South East and the Midlands respectively.
The company is also believed to be close to securing a major consumables contract with St Ives. An announcement is expected within the next few weeks.
