QuickPrint 5, which will launch in September, allows users to create, validate, colour manage and deliver PDF files from a single software package, and includes a built-in Adobe PDF Library for the first time.
Quickcut's latest ICC 2.0 colour management software features the Adobe Colour Engine used in Photoshop, and better RGB to CMYK colour conversion.
The firm has also released Portal, an online ad delivery and creation system for the classifieds market.
The software allows the advertiser to either submit a PDF file or provide images and text for the publisher's pre-press department to
lay out.
Operations director Mike Parmenter said that five UK newspaper publishers were interested in the system, but declined to name them.
