Newgate Press in south east London has won the contract to print 500,000 catalogues to be inserted in Vogue and Bare magazines as part of Beautyspys targeted press advertising campaign.
Beautyspy, a German cosmetics company, has signed a deal with Vogue to distribute 120,000 of its catalogues in Octobers UK issue and 220,000 in German Vogue. A further 100,000 inserts will also be included in the November issue of new lifestyle title Bare.
The seven-colour 28pp catalogues, which will be produced in two languages, are being printed on matt-coated paper using a Heidelberg Speedmaster 102, which Newgate Press purchased at the beginning of the year.
After sourcing the magnastrip attachment to two UK-based finishers, the firm will co-ordinate the distribution to Vogues warehouses.
Newgate, part of the Aylesbury Offset Group, was unable to disclose the value of the contract, but said that the catalogue would be recurrent.
